Connection Fee We do not recharge you the connection fee we have to pay on your behalf for a new ADSL account, however should you decide to terminate the account within the first 12 months then we reserve the right to recover the cost of the connection fee from you. The connection fee is currently £40.00 (£47.00 inc. VAT). Migration Fee We do not recharge you the migration fee we have to pay on your behalf for a transferred ADSL account, however should you decide to terminate the account within the first 3 months then we reserve the right to recover the cost of the migration fee from you. The migration fee is currently £11.06 (£13.00 inc. VAT). Fair Usage Policy All ADSL account users share their bandwidth with other users, the number of users is defined by the contention ratio. An account with a 50:1 contention ratio is shared with 49 other users. It has become necessary for ISPs to introduce Fair Usage Policies to ensure that a few users do not over use their connection to the detriment of other users with whom they share the bandwidth.
