Shetland Internet users can now access a range of Shetland Broadband services using their "shetland.co.uk" sub-domains. Customers can also now transfer their "shetland.co.uk" dial-up e-mail and web address to a Shetland Broadband 'Calloo' ADSL account as well as using their sub-domain with any of the compatible web and hosting services available from Shetland Broadband, including full POP3 and webmail.

ADSL is an "always on" internet connection which allows simultaneous use of telephone and fax on the same line. Shetland broadband is able to offer most varieties of "Home" and "Office" ADSL packages subject to availability at your telephone exchange.
Existing or new Shetland Internet mail and web space can be associated with our ADSL accounts.

Shetland Internet can offer a subscription free dial-up connection to the internet for which no direct charge is made by us. All you have to pay is any phone charges you incur while on-line. These calls are charged at local call rates.
This service provides a cost effective internet connection for the low user or those without ADSL.

A Shetland Islands Council three year pilot project to establish the viability of using wireless technology to deliver high speed broadband to Shetland communities.
Homes and businesses in Vidlin and Fetlar will have the opportunity to take part in the project and get 2Mbps broadband.
